Digital Canberra is seeking applications to fulfil two Program Support Officer roles with the Major Programs Branch. The Program Support Officer supports program delivery, providing administrative and governance support. The role will provide responsive and quality advice, timely coordination of information, contribute to the development of reports and briefings, and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension up to a further 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. The position will be based on an activity-based working (ABW) arrangement with no designated workstation. Flexible/Hybrid working options are available.
Responsibilities
- Support the program with delivery under the direction of project/program managers, in accordance with Digital Canberra delivery frameworks, processes and tools to ensure deliverables are completed within the baseline and stakeholder outcomes are achieved.
- Provide Governance, Risk and Compliance support to multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring processes and tools are used effectively and objectives are met.
- Establish and build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and communication.
- Assist with identification of risks and issues, ensuring they are assessed, reported, enacted and monitored as needed.
- Develop and maintain artefacts including Integrated Master Schedule, Program Registers, Progress Reports, and RAIDD logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions).
- Perform a diverse range of work across Major Programs branch and the program.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance elements within the delivery of projects and programs in an ICT or digital setting.
- Tertiary level qualifications and/or certification (or working towards) in Project Management are desirable (e.g., Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Foundations, PRINCE2 Agile Foundations).

- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communications skills, including the ability to write for government audiences, present information concisely, and produce high-quality documentation.

Compliance Requirements / Qualifications
- A current ACT Government CMTEDD Personnel Vetting Program certificate (Baseline clearance or equivalent) is required or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
