About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to join a growing team as a Senior Control Systems Engineer. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on cutting-edge automation and control systems that drive efficiency and quality within a dynamic and growing sector. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising control systems for food manufacturing processes and machinery. You will work closely with other engineers and departments to deliver high-quality, reliable control systems that improve overall manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and optimise control systems for complex machinery and processes in food manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Perform system troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Lead the implementation of new automation technologies to improve production efficiency and safety.
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of control systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their development.

About You:

- Strong experience in control systems engineering, particularly within industrial environments.
- Expertise with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems technologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex control systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects from conception through to completion.
- Degree in Electrical/Control Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is a plus.
