We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in supervising the provision of all maintenance across the Bloomfield Hospital site.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Responsibility for the supervision and delivery of all reactive and planned maintenance services and defect correction in accordance with the Maintenance Programs.
Monitor and report on contract performance to the Downer Engineering Services Manager.
Prepare estimates for FF & FE replacement programs or other minor works.
Supervise and audit execution of work directions/job requests undertaken by Health Staff and subcontractors to ensure response time, quality, cost, and legislative requirements.
Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues, customers, and the general public.
What You'll Bring
Trade Licence or Facilities Management Experience.
Valid, unrestricted driver's licence.
Experience in the supervision of a team of maintenance trades staff and subcontractors.
Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and maintenance engineering analysis.
Ability to work unsupervised, manage flexible hours, and oversee own and others' time to meet deadlines, including call-back.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
