* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
* Provide guidance and support on health and wellbeing initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation and standards.
* Deliver training and workshops to promote a safety-first culture.
* Investigate and report on workplace incidents and implement preventative measures.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent safety practices.
* Maintain accurate records of safety activities and compliance documentation.
Profile
A successful Health and Wellbeing / Safety Officer should have:
* Relevant qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related field.
* Experience in the energy and natural resources industry is highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and training skills.
* Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and audits.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Offer
* Hourly rate of $61-$70 per hour plus super, depending on experience.
