We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our small, highly effective Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands‐on environment, values accuracy and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
About the Role
* Collecting and testing seed, cereal, meal and stockfeed samples
* Conducting routine and non‐routine laboratory analysis
* Operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation
* Performing weighbridge operations
* Maintaining accurate documentation and records
* Carrying out calibrations and ensuring laboratory equipment is kept clean and compliant
This role offers variety across both laboratory and operational environments and plays a key part in supporting product quality and compliance.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Computer literacy and confidence with documentation systems
* A commitment to food safety, quality programs, GMP, HACCP, workplace health and safety and environmental procedures
* Previous laboratory or agricultural/food industry experience will be highly regarded, though training will be provided to the right candidate
