About the Role
You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, developing budgets with forecasts, and ensuring project costs remain within budget.
In addition to working with cross-functional teams, you will prepare cost reports and propose cost-effective solutions and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage internal cost management systems and reporting tools.
Assist with budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
Support cash flow forecasting and modelling.
Analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Assist with procurement reviews, pricing, and commercial decisions.
Track project costs.
Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Support project managers with commercial insights, cost tracking, and risk identification.
Review supplier and subcontractor claims and validate accuracy.
Coordinate with payroll, payables and accounts to ensure accurate cost allocation.
About You
Previous experience as a Costing Analyst, preferably within freight forwarding, supply chain logistics or similar.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
Excellent people skills and the ability to work in a team and independently.
