Join our team in this permanent position Provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Director, Critical Care Services.


The Team:

The Launceston General Hospital Department of Medicine provides comprehensive acute and subacute medical care for northern Tasmania as part of the Department of Health. Our team delivers a wide range of general and specialist medical services, working together to deliver high-quality, patient‑centred care and improve health outcomes for our community.


The Role:

You will need to

* Provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Director, Critical Care Services. This includes, but is not limited to, general administrative tasks such as minute taking, preparation of meeting documentation, routine correspondence, and filing, drafting and editing documentation.
* Provide assistance to the Nursing Director, Critical Care Services with research, collection and collation of statistical data, background notes, Ministerials, and briefing material and preparation of reports.
* Coordinate and provide secretarial assistance to committees as requested by the Nursing Director, Critical Care Services including compilation of agenda papers and minutes, and management of confidential information.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.


Salary:

$73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
