This role sits at the heart of the organisation and is the linchpin between Billing & Finance, People and Design, Engineering & Product (DEP). This role owns and is responsible for all the Billing & Finance / People applications, including systems such as Workato, Zuora, Salesforce, Netsuite, Pigment, Rippling, Lattice and Lever to name a few. This is a critical role in our business systems team, due to the large number of applications that make up the domain. This role will partner with the Finance & People teams (Ops and Leadership) to ensure applications are fit-for-purpose and are easily extendable for the future. The role is responsible for project delivery, gathering requirements, designing the end-to-end solutions and driving delivery of the project, with the assistance of a team of engineers, 3rd party vendors and hands-on configuration of systems (where practical). Responsibilities Architectural Leader for challenging and complex projects that impact on the domain Partner with various stakeholders, subject matter experts across the organisation Be the broad knowledge expert in the domain Lead and deliver projects, both from an architectural and hands-on perspective Present solutions to both technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the company Skills & Experience 5 years working as a Solutions Designer (Technical BA, business systems engineer or equivalent) with a focus on SaaS technologies - with particular experience with Zuora, Salesforce, Workato or other Integration experience Be Hands on - writing solution designs, collaborating with others and getting into the systems to make changes Designing end-to-end solutions that meet business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration capabilities Practical experience working with architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, Zachman or similar, allowing you to develop roadmaps/plans that align technology with business objectives Ability to influence others and drive decisions in a highly dynamic and customer-focused environment. Must have the ability to listen, understand and persuade Technical acumen and a strategic understanding of the essential systems used to support a SaaS organisation, which must include Zuora, Salesforce or Workato CPQ experience (nice to have) Certifications in Salesforce are a plus.
