Primary Teacher
Chatswood, Epping, Strathfield, Parramatta | Regular weekly hours
Remuneration: $60 – $80/hour + superannuation
Matrix Education is now hiring Sydney's best Primary School Teachers for our Chatswood, Epping, Strathfield or Parramatta campuses.
This role is ideal for a current Primary Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position which offers stability.
Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends and would be ideal for a current school teacher who is looking to for extra casual working hours or is considering stepping away from schools and would like to try teaching in a current environment!
You will have the opportunity work with a fun and talented team in a beautifully resourced campus with fantastic classroom resources.
Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are prepared for you.
What you'll do...
- Teaching regular weekly classes in English, mathematics and critical thinking,
- Teaching opportunities available during the NSW school holidays*,*
- Providing ongoing feedback and consultation on class resources.
What you'll need...
- Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
- Previous experience teaching primary students in a classroom setting,
- Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA stage 2 and 3 curriculum,
- Have completed their degree in Education, Teaching or a related discipline,
- Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
