**How will I help?**
As part of the Consumer Technology business unit, you will be working with many other areas of the business to achieve Westpac's goals. You will be analysing situations or issues, considering all options prior to recommending and implementing a solution. Your key areas will cover; Project/ Program governance, Project management, estimation and financial management, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, partner and vendor management and best practice and compliance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking action to ensure obligations are met, holding self and others accountable for behaviours and outcomes. 
- Identify, coordinate and integrate project management activities and processes. 
- Define and control what is and what is not included in the project in terms of agreed deliverables 
- Manage the timely completion of the project through defining and sequencing activities, effective estimation of resourcing and durations 
- Estimate, budget and control costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. 
- Execution of the processes of conducting risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring and control of risks in a project 
- Define and agree with key support areas quality management activities, including an integrated assurance plan and internal continuous improvement processes for large and/or complex projects/programs; ability to coach othersCoach others in the tools and techniques used in establishing supplier relationships and strategic alliances, improving the process for managing the supplier against agreed performance metrics and internal satisfaction ratings and supplier underperformance

**What do I need?**
The below experience and skills are required:
- Proven experience in project/program management, including hands on Senior Project Manager experience 
- Experience in a large, complex organisations and the financial services industry 
- Strong understanding of diverse business practices within large organisations 
- Proven coaching skills to foster personal accountability and corrective actions 
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including facilitating sessions on complex issues and guiding others in finding effective solutions 
- Expertise in defining and implementing project operating models for multi-stream or complex projects, ensuring cost-effective delivery practices 
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experienceCertified Practicing Project Director (via AIPM) and/or Program Management Professional (via PMI) and/or Managing Successful Program (MSP) accreditation desirable or internal training mandatory
