Program Manager: Climate Risk Insights
The Australian Climate Service is seeking a strategic leader for its Program 1, the ACS Integration Hub. This role will provide expertise in service delivery, program management, and policy advice to ensure best practice is employed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive cross-agency collaboration initiatives and activities.
* Research, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate project or program initiatives.
* Report on program objectives, outcomes, and work area performance.
* Manage risk assessment and risk management activities.
Requirements:
* Advanced experience and capability related to climate change adaptation and natural disaster prevention.
* Leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong project/program management skills and negotiation experience.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Australian climate service landscape and be able to drive integrated analysis and decision support. They will also be skilled in establishing internal and external communication and engagement approaches that support building the ACS reputation as a trusted source of data and integrated advice.
