* Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate personalised care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Oversee medical interventions and specialised nursing needs, ensuring timely and comprehensive documentation.
* Communicate effectively with families, staff and external health providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Identify and report risks to the relevant authorities, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Standards and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Implement and monitor infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
* Manage compliments, complaints and feedback professionally, using them as opportunities for growth and development.
Key qualifications and attributes include:
* Current National Practicing Registration as a Registered Division 1 Nurse.
* Two years' experience post completion of graduate year, with a focus on clinical and staff management.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in managing large teams, with a proven track record of success.
* Excellent problem-solving and care planning skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Experience in residential aged care settings, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
* Proficient with computerised documentation systems and records, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
