We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector to appoint a Cyber Security Engineer with exposure across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
This is a hands‑on technical role supporting the protection of corporate systems and critical operational assets, working closely with internal stakeholders and external security partners.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain cyber security controls across IT and OT networks
* Monitor cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents, acting as a key technical contact for an external Security Operations Centre (SOC)
* Support security architecture reviews for new projects CURL capital works
* Support firewall configuration, patching, and vulnerability management
* Support the ongoing development and uplift of cyber security standards, policies and procedures
About you
* 3+ years’ experience in cyber security, infrastructure security or network security roles
* Experience interfacing across a CSF aligned with AESCSF and the SOCI act
* Hands‑on experience across IT security, with exposure to OT / industrial environments highly regarded
* Pragmatic, hands‑on mindset with a strong problem‑solving approach
Familiarity with
* Firewalls and network security principles
* Cloud environments (e.g. Azure, M365 security controls)
Industrial or critical infrastructure environments (desirable)
