We are now looking for an Operation Manager to coordinate the daily operation of the Hamilton Island Golf Course and Golf Club. This role is focused on golfing operations and services to players, and whilst not directly responsible for other components such as food & beverage and course maintenance, it is expected that they will assist in all areas. Responsible for providing all guests with an exceptional level of professional and personalised service that meets and exceeds expectations.

About the role:
* Recruit and train new staff and respond to any staff issues in line with HIE policies and procedures.
* Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner. Take responsibility to ensure maximum guest satisfaction at all times.
* In conjunction with IT, ensure all marketing collateral, website and app information is correct and up to date.
* In conjunction with Sales and Marketing, implement play and stay packages to drive revenue during traditionally quiet periods on the course.
* Complete staff rosters to ensure manning guide and budgeted payroll targets are achieved.
* Manage profit and loss, expenses and payroll in line with budgets.
* Complete monthly financial reporting and management administration as required
* Monitor wholesale golf availability and update necessary parties with course availability and implement 'stop-sells' where necessary.
* Coordinate special events and golf days, liaising with all departments required
About you:
* QLD Open/Unrestricted Driver's License (Essential)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Golf Club Supervisory Role (Essential)
* Advance Resuscitation, CPR & First Aid (Essential)
* Fork Lift License (Preferred)
* Excellent presentation
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as a member of a management team
* Confidence to lead and motivate staff
