We're now on the lookout for an experienced
**Construction Manager **to join our
**Geelong** Construction team.
The focus for this role is to provide inspirational leadership to the team of Construction Supervisors and ensure that the very highest standards in quality, build times, safety and customer service are achieved.
**About the role**:
- Take ownership of the total construction cost control, assisting with labour rates, monthly close-offs, and final construction close offs
- Keep your people engaged and motivated, manage the remuneration review process across the Group, promote and lead the selection and induction of new employees
- Ensure workflow management and job allocations are managed appropriately
- Lead construction meetings and coordinate resources accordingly
- ETO Management and review. Provide education to Supervisors on how to minimise ETO costs
- Actively share knowledge and update the Construction department with procedural, regulation, method and product changes
- Development plans are established for your team members and additionally, team goals are stipulated and monitored on a minimum bi-monthly basis.
**Who we're looking for**:
We're seeking an
**experienced** Construction Manager who:
- Possesses a growth leader mindset and can bring new ideas to a team to develop their ability to build first-time quality products. This means taking a creative and proactive approach to supporting Supervisors to ensure their ongoing training and development fosters both excellence and engagement.
- Taking ownership in managing and engaging the team in workflow and allocation, you'll build a culture of empowerment and ownership, where knowledge is shared and a focus on budget, build times and continuous improvement are maintained. You'll also manage total construction costs across your region and drive improvements across ETOs, compliance and reporting.
- Is process-driven, jovial, approachable, and adaptable and gains respect for its ability to work with people of varying levels of experience and different personalities to ensure our customers have the best experience across every build.
