**The Role**:
This position is a Full Time - Permanent Position, working day shift with possible overtime as required. There may also be some after hours or weekend work when necessary.
In this role, you will be integral in supporting the team in a combination of duties related to maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Undertaking a proactive role in fault finding and coordinating preventative maintenance activities.
- General fitting, welding, fabricating, machining, and equipment maintenance/installation.
- Inspection of plant and equipment to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
- Review planned works coming up and assist with scheduling and coordinating works accordingly.
- Assist production staff with troubleshooting and testing machinery issues.
- Perform periodic and condition-based inspections, maintenance and servicing of equipment as required.
- Improve operations by recommending, supporting, and implementing activities to optimise results and efficiency of delivery in line with quality standards and Company requirements.
- Assist with equipment spare parts management and BOM development.
- Assist management of MEX work orders, spare parts management, task list development and updates to PM plans.
- Support contractors for site and facility maintenance.
- Support the site in achieving key DIFOT and Quality targets.
- Assist with housekeeping and management of all workshop and maintenance spare parts stores areas.
- Assist with on-site installations and minor project work, as necessary.

- Mechanical current trade qualifications or Advanced diploma mechanical engineering.
- Experience in general maintenance functions such as equipment repair, failure analysis to root cause and preventative maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment (Essential).
- A commitment to your own and others safety and wellbeing with a strong focus on adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental site and regulatory standards.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills to work through machinery breakdowns or quality issues.
- Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings, plans and PID's to understand equipment service needs, spare parts, and technical requirements.
- Ability to understand and work with water systems, lubrication systems, pneumatics, and basic hydraulics.
- Knowledge and experience working with a CMMS ideally MEX.
- Strong ability to work and communicate alongside the Leadership groups and Operations teams across the Factory.
- Experience with LiSEC, Glaston and FORVET Glass Processing Machinery (Desirable)
- EWP Yellow Card (Desirable)
- Current drivers' licence (Essential)
