Job Title: Infrastructure Development Manager
This role leads the planning, delivery, and management of infrastructure programs across the Northern Territory, supporting multiple government agencies.
The successful candidate will oversee planning, design, procurement, and construction for multiple government agencies, ensuring projects meet statutory, safety, and sustainability standards while delivering quality outcomes.
* Lead infrastructure programs across NT regions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Develop and implement design standards, planning frameworks, and asset management strategies to optimize performance.
* Manage consultants and contracts to ensure compliance, value for money, and high-quality services.
* Oversee operating budgets and resource allocation, balancing delivery with fiscal constraints to achieve business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and governance policies to maintain a strong reputation.
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH AGENCIES, CONTRACTORS, AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS TO DRIVE COLLABORATIVE DELIVERY.
* LEAD AND DEVELOP A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM FOCUSED ON SAFETY, INNOVATION, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS OBJECTIVES.
* SUPPORT WHOLE-OF-NT INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING AND COLLABORATE WITH OTHER LEADERS ON STRATEGIC DELIVERY.
About You
* PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT OR PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, CONSTRUCTION, OR INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING WITH A TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY.
* Strong understanding of regulatory obligations, safety standards, and sustainability policies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage consultants, contracts, and budgets in complex environments to achieve business objectives.
* EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION, AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT SKILLS TO BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND DRIVE COLLABORATIVE DELIVERY.
* Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline to enhance knowledge and skills.
