More About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a
Process Engineer
and continue the optimisation that has already started at
Strathpine.
This is your chance to step into a hands-on position where you'll be at the heart of driving manufacturing excellence. You will work closely with our Manufacturing and Optimisation teams to analyse production data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and performance. This isn't a desk job, it's a dynamic, people-focused role where your curiosity, communication skills, and passion for continuous improvement will shine.
You will be exposed to world-class systems and processes, gaining invaluable experience in process optimisation, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. From day one, you'll be empowered to make data-informed decisions, contribute to capital and cost-saving projects, and help shape the future of our manufacturing operations. Please note if successful your first 3 months will be on the shop floor in production learning, understanding and developing your knowledge of machinery, process and systems.
Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
* Demonstrated ability to analyse production data and identify process deviations
* Experience in managing process control databases and reporting tools
* Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
* proactive mindset and a drive to make data-informed decisions that improve outcomes.
