Job Description Summary
The Delivery Manager is a pivotal part of the services organization, owning the project's Delivery Model and serving as the Technical Leader. The role involves cultivating relationships with customers during pre-sales and project delivery phases, providing strategic advice on the management and operations of customer organizations to support business objectives.
The Delivery Manager provides technical leadership in pre-sales and delivery, managing relationships to ensure client outcomes are met within project constraints. You will define, implement, and maintain best practices and delivery standards for the Project Engineering team.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Coordinate with the Project Manager on scope, schedule, risk, and quality management.
* Ensure end-to-end software delivery meets schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
* Manage project execution, including WBS creation, task tracking, and reporting.
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
* Lead engineering Gate Reviews and utilize performance measurement tools.
* Deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions, prepare input data, and automate data processing.
* Lead integration of solutions into client environments, including API and microservice development.
* Collaborate with development teams, respond to client inquiries, and lead testing and validation.
* Automate workflows, analyze data, and report project outcomes.
* Ensure smooth project transfer to maintenance and engage in customer management activities.
Additional Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership for large solutions.
* Define and prioritize requirements, and propose technical solutions.
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and lead technical workshops.
* Take ownership of issues and resolve them proactively.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
* At least 2+ years in the electricity industry.
* Strong analysis, requirements management, and software development experience, including Python.
Knowledge
* Familiarity with energy industry trends, DER management, distribution planning, and software like OpenDSS, CYME, Powerfactory.

Nice to Have
* Master's degree, AWS Certification, DevOps, cybersecurity experience, cloud deployment, utility integration, and power system analysis software experience.
This is a remote position with no relocation assistance. The role is mid-senior level, full-time, in management and manufacturing within the electric power generation industry.
