Senior Advisor, Ministerial Services
Location: Sydney location with hybrid working
Grade: Clerk 9/10
Salary Range: $125,693 - $138,510 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing, Full Time Opportunity
About this role
In this role, you will use your technical knowledge of Ministerial Services to handle escalations within the team, provide advice to the Ministerial Services Manager on complex issues and lead on key Ministerial Services projects.
Additionally, you will work across the Department of Customer Service (DCS) portfolio, including providing support to customer facing organisations like Service NSW and Fair Trading, and work closely with the Departmental Liaison Officers in our Ministers' Offices.

Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the effective coordination and development of information to ensure on-time delivery to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with, and coach and mentor staff to achieve and maintain service standards.
* Contribute to, develop and implement practical solutions to business processes.
* Manage and assist with rapidly changing priorities and conflicting perspectives.
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide support and guidance to Departmental Liaison Officers on Ministerial Services related requests.
About you:
* Strong understanding of Ministerial Services – solid grasp of processes and procedures relating to Ministerial Services.
* Effective relationship-building skills – experience building and developing key stakeholder and business relationships.
* Attention to detail and organisational skills – thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with shifting priorities.
* Sound judgement and analytical skills – assess complex information and make or recommend well-informed decisions.
* Data analysis – experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
