Excellent opportunities exist for agile Registered Nurses specialising in a range of areas, including Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Robotics, Colorectal, and General surgery, to join the Perioperative Team at a private hospital in Brisbane on a permanent part-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality clinical care and exceptional service to patients and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing instrumentation and consumables for surgical procedures;
- Ensuring smooth and efficient operating theatre lists;
- Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients throughout their surgical journey;
- Collaborating closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the theatre team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience in theatre preferred;
- Experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, or PACU highly regarded;
- Strong assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills;
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities;
- Availability to participate in the on-call/recall roster.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
