A well-established and respected residential landscaping business is expanding and currently seeking two experienced leaders to join their Canberra team:
Garden Maintenance Manager
Landscape Construction Team Leader
These roles suit professionals who take pride in quality, leadership and client relationships. Whether your strength is managing maintenance teams or leading high-end construction projects, this business offers stability, autonomy and genuine career progression.
Role 1 - Garden Maintenance Manager
Salary: $75K-$85K + super + vehicle, fuel card, laptop & phone
This is a mostly off-the-tools leadership role overseeing residential garden maintenance operations. You'll manage staff, client relationships, scheduling and quoting smaller works, while ensuring gardens are maintained to a high standard.
Key focus areas:
* Leading and coordinating maintenance teams
* Managing client relationships and service delivery
* Quoting small garden works and improvements
* Planning schedules and workflow
* Supporting business growth and client retention
Ideal background:
* 6+ years' experience in residential garden maintenance
* Strong organisation, admin and computer skills
* Experience managing staff and customers
* Cert III in Horticulture / Landscaping / Parks & Gardens (preferred)
Role 2 - Landscape Construction Team Leader
Salary: $80K-$90K + super + vehicle, fuel card & phone
This is a hands-on leadership role delivering high-end residential landscape construction projects. You'll lead a small team on site, manage daily activities and ensure exceptional finishes and client satisfaction.
Key focus areas:
* Leading landscape construction projects on site
* Managing a small team and daily site operations
* High-end residential finishes and attention to detail
* Client communication and site coordination
Ideal background:
* Qualified in Landscape Construction or Carpentry
* 6+ years' experience in landscape construction
* Strong skills in tiling, concreting, decking & irrigation
* Swimming pool construction experience highly regarded
* Confident site leader with strong communication skills
