Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role:
The Regional Quality Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving high standards of care across residential aged care communities. This role provides expert guidance, supports continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with aged care legislation and standards, and fosters a culture of excellence and person-centred care.
This role may be permanent full time or permanent part time, negotiable with the successful candidate.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide expert support on compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Lead and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
* Undertake audits, reviews, and risk assessments to ensure quality and safety of care.
* Support care community managers and care teams with training, mentoring, and interpretation of clinical governance requirements.
* Review incidents, trends, and support implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain quality improvement plans.
* Act as liaison for accreditation, regulatory reporting, and complaints management.
* Promote best practice models of care and facilitate knowledge sharing across care communities.
