The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Advisor to support with the effective delivery of HR services across our Australian operations. As the Human Resources Advisor, you'll manage the day-to-day HR operations and provide timely and quality support to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a newly created, hands-on role suited to a junior to mid-level Human Resources Advisor, ideally with Retail industry experience. You'll join a collaborative and supportive team, where your ideas and advice are valued.
This is a full-time role, based in our Sydney Headquarters in Bondi Junction.
What you'll do:
* HR Administration across the full employee lifecycle
* Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders on general HR queries
* Provide practical, timely, and accurate advice to leaders on all people-related matters
* Coordinate the onboarding process, from documentation to supporting a seamless first day experience for new hires.
* Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies & procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation
* Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
* Assist with the development and delivery of HR initiatives and projects
* Support with end-to-end recruitment activities
What you'll bring
* 2-3 years' experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally within the Retail industry
* Tertiary qualification in HR (or working towards)
* Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HR best practices
* Ability to interpret Modern Awards – experience with the Retail Award is a plus
* Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation
* Strong time management, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics is a plus
