About the role The Content Creator is a dynamic and versatile role within the Botanist Creative Australia team, responsible for conceiving, producing, and publishing high-quality content across a range of platforms and formats. Working closely with the creative and strategy teams, the Content Creator will translate client briefs and brand narratives into engaging written, visual, and multimedia content that resonates with target audiences and achieves measurable outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and produce original, high-quality content across multiple formats including long-form articles, blog posts, social media copy, scripts, video content, email campaigns, website copy, and multimedia storytelling. Translate client briefs, brand guidelines, and strategic objectives into compelling content that meets audience needs and campaign goals. Write, edit, and proofread content to a professional standard, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guides. Produce and edit short-form video and audio content, including reels, podcasts, and explainer videos, as required. Develop content calendars and manage the scheduling and publication of content across relevant platforms. Collaborate with designers and videographers to ensure cohesive visual and written storytelling. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative ideation processes, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to content strategy. Research industry trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to inform content direction and ensure relevance. Assist in the development of content strategies for clients, including platform selection, tone of voice, and content mix recommendations. Identify opportunities to repurpose and amplify content across channels to maximise reach and impact. Liaise with clients and internal account managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure all content deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard. Monitor and analyse the performance of published content using relevant analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics). Provide regular reporting on content performance metrics, including reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion, and use data insights to inform future content decisions. Maintain accurate records of content assets, version control, and approvals in accordance with agency systems and processes. Stay current with emerging platforms, content formats, digital trends, and industry best practices.
