They are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities, build long-term partnerships with mining operators, and support the rollout of a new solution into the market. This role offers strong autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a scaling organisation, where culture is at the forefront of what they do.
About the opportunity
* Drive growth across open pit mining operations in Western Australia and nationally
* Identify and pursue new opportunities with large mining organisations
* Build trusted relationships across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders
* Manage opportunities from early engagement through to commercial close
* Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with growth targets
* Support go-to-market planning and expansion strategy
* Lead commercial discussions including pricing, scope, and agreement structure
* Represent the business in client meetings, industry events, and site visits
* Work closely with product and delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients
* Share market insights and customer feedback to influence product direction

* Work as part of a friendly and collaborative team
* Competitive base salary, with generous uncapped commission scheme
* Experience selling into open pit mining operations, with an established network
* Strong track record in business development or solution sales

* Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes
* Disciplined approach to pipeline tracking and forecasting
* Self-driven with a proactive and relationship-focused mindset
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
