The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join the Komatsu Forklifts team in our Brisbane Branch.
You will be required to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu forklifts and allied equipment, and through your efforts, contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and timesheets.
- Diagnose and determine faults on our equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on our equipment.
- Complete major rebuilds and repairs as required.
- Work unsupervised in a time‐critical environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A proven high level of customer service.
- Current drivers licence.
- Relevant trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Vehicle).
- Prior servicing, mechanical, electrical or hydraulic experience.
- Time‐management skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of industry safety protocols.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck.
- LPG qualifications – desirable.
- Experience maintaining forklifts – desirable.
- Auto‐electrical experience, qualifications and diagnostic skills highly regarded.
