About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership setting and has strong people management skills. You will be responsible for managing our new and used vehicle departments, leading a team of sales staff, and actively contributing to closing sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor sales staff to achieve department targets.
- Assist in the management of new and used vehicle sales operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met throughout the entire buying process.
- Identify and close sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations and test drives for potential customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BMW products, services, and financing options.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks associated with sales.
- Actively participate in closing both new and used vehicle deals.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate with other departments.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and dealership events as required.
About You
- Proven experience managing new and used car departments
- Excellent people and team management skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with dealership systems
- Availability to work Saturdays is essential, with RDO on Sundays and one weekday.
- Full understanding of sales processes and dealership operations
