We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to support the Director of Food & Beverage with the daily operations of our $20 million Food & Beverage Department in the iconic Hunter Valley Wine region.
You will lead the day to day operations of all hotel Food & Beverage outlets.
This is a hands on role ensuring the Food and Beverage Operations is on track to achieve established EVT quality, guest and employee standards along with departmental revenue and profit goals. This is a critical position requiring proven capability in creating a positive and productive work environment. Your strength will be your ability to build, motivate, and lead an effective team that delivers results and is highly engaged.

As a head of department (HOD), you will play a supportive role in shaping our food and beverage strategy. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and leadership in a vibrant wine region, building meaningful relationships with local winemakers and food artisans.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a hands-on approach to the coordination and management of the Hotel's Food and Beverage outlets.
• As HOD you will supervise the F&B Outlet Managers/Supervisors to ensure they perform their duties and responsibilities to the standard required.
• Ensure service standards are maintained and the policies and procedures of the Hotel are upheld at all times.
• Maintain a high level of visibility, monitor service delivery and assist in the operations as required.
• Regularly report on the status of the outlets and any activities that may influence trade and outlet operations to the Director of Food & Beverage.
Skills & Experience
These are the desired skills and experience for this role:
• Extensive Experience: Significant experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for delivering results and fostering the development of your team.
• Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage complex relationships, demonstrating an aptitude for interacting positively with guests, staff, owners and third-party partners, reflecting well on the hotel and the brand.
• Required Certifications: Valid certifications, including NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol and a current driver's license.
