This role is a Senior PM in the Program Management Function, responsible for the delivery of PM training, governance and support to Programs.
Responsibilities
* Lead assurance activities such as Change Management reviews, system health checks, best practice reviews, and Independent Reviews.
* Develop, upkeep and implement PM processes, standards, policies and procedures in alignment with Boeing enterprise.
* Lead and support Enterprise Standard Gated Process reviews.
* Lead and support PM Training development and delivery.
* Lead PM Functional Continuous Improvement or minor internal projects, as assigned.
* Lead management of PM Tools.
* Actively respond and support help needed across the business.
* Proactively engage with project stakeholders including customers and business leaders to deliver results.
About You
You are a dynamic leader who will bring technical skills, effective communication, and relationship building strengths to support our Program Management Function and the PMO team. You are comfortable working autonomously and as part of a wider community to seek and drive continuous improvement.
Experience and Qualifications
* Wide experience in managing complex projects to successful completion.
* Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business, or Management qualifications are desired; however, prior experience will be considered.
* Experience leading or working within a program of works/Project Management Office.
* IT Project experience desirable.
* Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted industry project management standards.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to exert influence at multiple organisational levels.
* High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
* Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach other PM professionals.
* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
