The Role
We are seeking an experiencedLoader Operator to join our team in Yatala to assist with the day-to-day activities within our Asphalt production facility.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including D&A screening and is expected to have at a minimum but not limited to the following skills and attributes:
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring quality of asphalt product to specifications
Participate in risk management and hazard identification processes in conjunction with the SSO
Undertake site inspections for safety, quality, and environment
Day-to-day administration of the Asphalt Plant including stock control of raw materials
General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance, along with the safe operation of a front-end loader
Experience operating a screener (preferred)
Strong mechanical diagnostic and maintenance skills

Must be available for night and weekend work, as well as regular overtime depending on production demands and requirements
Highly Desired Attributes:
HR License
Understanding of bitumen and bitumen-based products
Previous experience in asphalt production role
Previous experience operating a bobcat
Familiarity with LOTO (lock out tag out)
Confined space
First aid
EWP
