Description Amazon Business is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Selection to join our foundational team in Australia. This represents a significant opportunity to be part of establishing Amazon Business in the Australian market from inception. As a key member of our founding team, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of B2B commerce in one of Amazon's newest markets. Working at the centre of the Amazon flywheel, you will be instrumental in determining the most relevant products for business customers and generating a supplier pipeline that enables Amazon Business to deliver exceptional value. To achieve this, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate buy-in, recruit effort, and form a consistent operating approach to relevant selection metrics across the business. As the Senior Product Manager for Selection at Amazon Business, you will be passionate about getting hands-on with data and processes to identify and act on opportunity areas that deliver continuous improvement in your workstreams. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, and able to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment. They will be able to effectively use written and verbal communication at both a strategic and tactical level, to drive continual progress within projects and workstreams. This position offers the unique opportunity to help build and shape a significant business initiative from the ground up, contributing to Amazon Business's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Key job responsibilities - Build and manage product roadmaps to address key client and partner requirements - Own the deployment of selection prioritisation approaches to category teams - Engage in continuous process improvement to refine prioritisation models - Understand key customer requirements, and translate these into actionable focus areas for partner teams - Plan resourcing, analyze, and report weekly and monthly metrics for your workstreams - Achieve business KPIs for lead generation and qualification efficiency - Design and implement automation solutions that remove manual processes and enable stakeholders to manage the business more effectively A day in the life While you will always strive towards one goal - delighting customers - no two days will be the same. About the team The successful candidate's peers will be a team of cross-functional leads across a new business unit. You will regularly interact with teams across the organisation, as well as their Leadership (including commercial, program, product-tech, data science, business intelligence and operations teams).
