**The role**:
The incumbent will be responsible to execute the Channel strategy to increase brand awareness, partner development and meet sales targets in alignment with global strategies to achieve annual sales targets and exploit all opportunities for market development. The position will build strong relationship and engagement with longtail resellers to create end-user awareness and become a preferred technology vendor.
**You shall**:
- Support the External Channel Sales team when required with follow ups, marketing, customer queries etc.
- Participate in lead generation strategies, such as cold calling, to identify business prospects and create and maintain a list of potential customers for you to grow and increase the sales funnel
- Meet or exceed business sales targets for all the product and solutions opportunities
- Promote and signup partners to Vertiv Partner Portal and VIP Rewards Program
- Pipeline management and lead follow up
- Enable Distribution and Channel partners on quoting and winning business for Vertiv through appropriate training, demonstrations and related programs
- Co-ordinate with supply chain & sales operations on behalf of the field partner managers & partners to facilitate order entries, ETA communications, escalations & expediting fulfillment
**You have**:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant working experience in an inside sales or account management capacity.
- 5+ years Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering experience or related discipline would be considered a bonus
- Working knowledge of Distribution and Channel routes to markets
- Able to work collaboratively
- Learning agility
