*About the position: As a Senior Full Stack Developer in our Research & Development team, you'll play a key role in developing systems that enable data science and analytics at scale. You'll design and maintain robust, cloud-based applications, contribute to architectural discussions, and collaborate closely with the Data Science team to transform data into actionable insights.
This is a full-time onsite role at our Redfern HQ.
What You'll Do:*
* Design, develop and maintain systems and web apps supporting analytics and automation.
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to peers, supporting team learning and growth.
* Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
* Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Developers to deliver impactful technical solutions.
* Develop reusable tools, automation, and internal libraries to improve productivity.
* Research and apply emerging technologies to enhance system performance and team productivity
What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) and 5+ years' experience in full-stack development using or Python.
* Proven expertise in AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, ALB, CloudWatch, SageMaker) or GCP equivalents with a focus on infrastructure automation, cost optimization, and scalability.
* Experience with MLOps practices is desirable, including deploying ML models, automating data pipelines, and monitoring model performance.
* Strong SQL / NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline experience.
* Experience building web applications and APIs using FastAPI, Express, and Angular or equivalent frameworks.
* Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture, ERP integration, and testing frameworks
* Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Confluence for version control and project collaboration
