Due to significant growth, they are seeking a proactive, analytical, and solutions-orientated Logistics Manager.
The primary role is to facilitate, support and manage the movement of goods from suppliers (mainly overseas) to our warehouses and 3PL providers. You will work closely with Demand Planning and Order Processing, and be accountable for delivering operational excellence, ensuring reliable and adequate supply of stock.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the end-to-end logistics for the brand both domestically and internationally. 
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Operational Logistics processes, tools and policies. 
- Highlight logistics planning process gaps and propose process improvements 
- Deliver supply and supplier solutions that support the business requirements. 
- Manage and work closely with our Order Processing Administrator, ensuring accurate and timely placing of purchase orders, regular follow up and reporting. 
- Manage and resolve supply issues and escalate to the business stakeholders those that cannot be resolved in a timely manner. 
- Determine freight method mode based on requirements, urgency, and specific circumstances. Factors to take into account include cost comparisons, dispatch dates, RFP's, legal paperwork required for sea and air freight, customs compliance, duties & taxes. 
- Tactical continuous improvement 
- Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure efficient, reliable and timely consolidations, shipments and clearing of orders. 
- Optimise transportation routes and methods. 
- Continuous communication with suppliers to monitor the progress of orders and foresee/plan for any potential issues with timely delivery.
**Suitability**:
- A minimum of 3 year's inbound logistics experience, together with import management, customs and clearing processes and documentation 
- Experienced, results-driven and hands-on Inbound Logistics professional who is comfortable operating in complex and diverse environments and has a proven track record of improving efficiency and profitability in an organisation. 
- Thorough understanding of international freight logistics 
- Strong exposure and understanding of Distribution and Logistics, Commercial and Finance areas. 
- High computer literacy with a solid understanding of ERP systems (Net Suite advantageous) 
- Proactive attitude, initiative taking and ability to work in a project mode 
- Be able to influence and challenge as well as adapt quickly and manage priorities 
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams 
- Knowledge of Mandarin beneficial
