Catering Assistant (Boardroom & Client Floor) page is loaded## Catering Assistant (Boardroom & Client Floor)locations: Canberratime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR-102142We currently have a vacancy for a full-time **Catering Assistant** within our Canberra Operations team.**Key Responsibilities** Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:* Provide catering services including Barista, Waiter service, food preparation, plating service and handling* Managing the servicing of all staff kitchen areas, including supplies and cleaning* Monitor all catering stock levels and arrange for ordering* Review, manage and maintain the EMS Meeting and Room Scheduling Software in coordination with Reception* Set, up, configure, clear and clean kitchens, client meeting rooms, conference rooms, lunches, functions, and events* Kitchenhand duties including food prep, plating and dishes* Ensure all catering equipment is appropriately maintained and serviced* Where necessary out of hours work may be required to support events and functions**What We're Looking For** To be successful in this role, you will have:* Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.* Basic knife skills and knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.* The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* Good communication and teamwork skills.* A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.* A preference for 1-2 years' experience in the hospitality industry.As Australia's leading independent law firm, Clayton Utz is built on a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
