Job Overview
The role of Network Security Operations Lead involves leading a team of security and network engineers in managing the organization's IT infrastructure.
* This includes overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and fabric switches to ensure seamless connectivity.
* Troubleshooting network problems and outages is also a key responsibility.
* A strong understanding of routing & switching technologies including MPLS, IPsec, VPN, BGP, and OSPF is essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Solar Winds, PRTG, FMC, Cisco Prime/DNA Centre, and Cisco Licensing Manager for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
* Configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and fabric switches.
* Troubleshooting network issues and ensuring seamless connectivity.
* Performing root-cause analysis and recommending improvements to network health.
* Monitoring and managing firewalls using FMC (Firepower Management Console) and Splunk and other SIEM tools.
* Ensuring adherence to security policies and industry standards.
Requirements include:

* 8+ years of experience with LAN/WAN technologies.
* Proficiency in network infrastructure management, load balancer administration, firewall and security operations, wireless network management, infra and network monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, service management and compliance, performance optimization and troubleshooting, capacity planning and upgrades, documentation and compliance, and team leadership and training.
* Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
* Experience with tools like Solar Winds, PRTG, FMC, Cisco Prime/DNA Centre, and Cisco Licensing Manager.
* Proficiency in Service Now, SCCM, and Intune for incident management, configuration tracking, and policy enforcement.
