Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Controls Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Controls Engineer to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can deliver high‑quality electrical engineering solutions and support various projects within our portfolio. Experience with controls systems is essential, and RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement electrical systems and solutions for a range of projects.
* Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical control systems.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Consultancy experience within the mining and minerals sectors preferred.
* Knowledge and exposure to PLC programming.
* Experience using software including Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley.
* Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
* Experience within several electrical control systems is a bonus.
* RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) qualification is desirable.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.
