Position: Program Coordinator – Practical Courses (Permanent full‐time, commencing Term 3, 2026)

Role Overview

You will be a dedicated, highly competent and enthusiastic coordinator of Practical Courses. Your responsibilities include:

* Leading the delivery of visual art, home economics, design and technology, and physical education studies programmes.
* Planning and managing teaching loads, performance management of teaching staff and curriculum innovation.
* Managing financial resources for the learning areas and promoting the programmes through partnerships with network schools, training providers and Curtin University.
* Supporting the school's Business Plan, working in a team environment and contributing to whole‐school initiatives.
* Using data such as the Student Achievement Information System (SAIS) to target individual student learning needs and driving evidence‐based teaching.
* Participating in professional learning opportunities and continually reflecting on teaching practice to sustain a culture of high‐quality teaching.

Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
* Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
* Valid Working With Children Check before commencement.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
