This role ensures all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance are carried for the resort. 
**Your day to day** 
Keeping our Resort running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience - as the Handy Person you’ll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with dedication and pride. 
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will conduct general maintenance for the Resort in accordance with company standards and be able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures. You will assist with repair work and participate in the Resort’s preventative maintenance programs. 
**What we need from you** 
- A proactive individual who can communicate effectively with all team members, stakeholders and guests who has an excellent eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks within conflicting deadlines. 
- At least 2 to 3 years general maintenance and/or repair experience with a good all round knowledge of maintenance procedures. 
- Experience in all or some of the following is essential - air conditioning, door lock systems, painting, tiling, plumbing and general furniture repairs, with exposure to the hospitality industry desirable although not essential. 
- Must hold a full Australian drivers licence and the appropriate work rights to work within Australia with the ability to work a seven day rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays a must.
