Workfast are looking for a motivated Turf Assistant for a permanent position based at the iconic Commonwealth Park in Canberra, ACT.
* 6:30 am - 2:36 pm
* Immediate start
* $30 - 31 per hour + OT + super

What you will be doing:
* Performing detailed turf maintenance across premium public parklands
* Operating ride-on mowers (including Zero Turn), edgers, blowers, and other turf equipment
* Laying, repairing, and maintaining turf surfaces to a high standard
* Irrigation, fertilisation, and weed control
* Supporting broader landscape maintenance tasks as needed
* Maintaining clean and safe workspaces
* Collaborating with the team and reporting to the site supervisor
What you need:
* Qualification in Turf Management / Horticulture, OR currently studying / 2nd–3rd year apprentice
* Hands-on experience operating ride-on mowers (Zero Turn)
* Experience in high-detail turf maintenance or groundskeeping beneficial
* Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* Eagerness to grow into leadership roles
* Full working rights in Australia
