Product Design Lead

As a Product Design Lead, you will partner with colleagues and clients to direct, define and design product and experience strategies for leading enterprise clients. You will apply your sector knowledge, design leadership, critical‐thinking and core consulting skills to diagnose and resolve complex business issues through innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set the experience and product design direction with clients to realise their digital, data, AI and customer experience goals.
* Lead end‐to‐end discovery, definition, product design, prototyping, validation, delivery handoff and iteration across complex engagements, using the right mix of design platforms, experience canvases and AI‐assisted workflows.
* Define strategies to accelerate digital channel shift, product adoption and experience quality, with supporting business cases where required.
* Design and govern AI‐enabled product experiences, including agentic workflows, builder flows, orchestration, monitoring, approval and fallback patterns.
* Run design critique, stakeholder playback, co‐design workshops and design governance rituals across Figma or similar design platforms, FigJam /Miro /Mural‐style experience canvases and client‐ready artefacts.
* Provide leadership within the creative and experience team, guiding and coaching more junior team members.
* Advise, guide and coach client business and technology teams to drive implementation of recommendations.
* Explore and explicitly elaborate upon commercial implications and impacts arising from your recommendations to help clients fund transformation ambitions.
* Uplift Avanade's creative and advisory capability through thought leadership, asset development, reusable methods and communities of practice.
* Contribute to Avanade's sustained growth by proactively contributing to business development opportunities and pursuits.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

* 5+ years of product design, UX, experience design, digital consulting or agency experience, with evidence of leading complex digital product or platform work.
* Strong capability across design leadership, product strategy, discovery, research synthesis, IA, interaction design, UI craft, visual design, design systems, accessibility, prototyping and delivery handoff.
* Ability to set standards for the team across Figma or similar platforms, Sketch where relevant, FigJam /Miro /Mural experience canvases, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar asset‐production tools, and Figma Dev Mode / Code Connect‐style handoff.
* A history of solving complex business challenges and leaning into the client's broader commercial and strategic needs.
* Demonstrable skills in analysing and understanding problems experienced by medium to large‐scale organisations from strategy to implementation.
* A track record of leading project workstreams, client deliverables and multidisciplinary teams through clear communication, empathy and focus on outcomes.
* A knack for explaining complex technologies, frameworks and concepts in non‐technical language.
* Confidence using and governing AI‐native design, prototyping and design‐to‐code workflows, including tools such as Figma Make, UX Pilot, Lovable, Replit, Cursor, Google Stitch or similar, while setting guardrails for responsible, accessible and delivery‐ready outcomes.
* Undergraduate degree in design, human‐computer interaction, business consulting, computer science or a related field, and with a demonstrated curiosity for new knowledge with relevant certifications, professional learning or equivalent industry experience.
Analytics Architect (AI Architect)

In this role you will work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artefacts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment in it – with a significant focus on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies.
* Play a key role in Avanade's sales process with responsibility for shaping high‐level design, estimates and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject‐matter experts in the business.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire more junior colleagues from within your team and across the organization.
* Translate complex technical solutions and present them in different formats to business decision makers, to market in engaging video or blog content, to internal sales teams in battle‐card format.
* Engage in early conversations with the client and/or sales team and support origination and deal qualification, become the trusted advisor. Prepare and represent the solution in deal reviews and play an active role in oral client presentations and negotiation discussions with key client buyers.
* Complete pricing using standard solution architecture processes, methods, estimating and modelling tools to drive quality and minimise time to solution through process and reuse.
* Understand and leverage different pricing models and work with sales leads to articulate deal pricing. Ensure a deal is both winnable and deliverable, mitigating potential risks.
Software Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across front‐end, back‐end and cloud solutions.
* Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure and high‐quality applications.
* Act as a technical reference point for modern web and cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices and client standards.
* Lead, coach and mentor cross‐functional software engineering teams (Front‐end, Back‐end, Fullstack, DevOps).
* Support career development through regular feedback, performance management and skills growth plans.
* Foster a collaborative, inclusive and continuous‐learning culture within the team.
* Own delivery outcomes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and at the expected quality level.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
* Manage risks, dependencies and priorities across multiple initiatives.
* Guide teams working with modern front‐end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) to deliver intuitive and responsive user experiences.
* Oversee back‐end development using ASP.NET Core and secure, high‐performance Web APIs.
* Drive the design and adoption of cloud‐native solutions on Microsoft Azure, promoting scalability and cost efficiency.
* Champion CI/CD best practices and oversee implementation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes and YAML‐based pipelines.
* Promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, including unit testing, code reviews, pair programming and automation.
* Encourage effective use of modern productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve developer efficiency and code quality.
* Ensure effective use of SQL and NoSQL databases for reliable data storage, retrieval and performance.
* Oversee integration patterns and data flows between systems and services.
Business Development Manager – Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and engage with new clients to expand our client portfolio in the mid‐market.
* Identify new sales opportunities across key channels to increase sales volume.
* Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies.
* Sell a portfolio of Avanade and/or third‐party software products directly to end‐user organisations.
* Specialise in the sale of one or more key technologies in the Microsoft stack including Apps & Infra; Modern Workplace; Data & AI and Security.
* Generate sales and drive revenue, typically in low‐to‐medium risk and return sales activities.
* Lead customer relationships for new accounts.
* Prospect, acquire, develop and expand business leads.
* Achieve short and long‐term sales growth by increasing cross‐selling activities within existing and new accounts.
* Be accountable for an individual sales target.
* Be accountable and have solid experience managing the full sales life cycle from origination of opportunities through to contracting and closure.
