Electrical Commissioning Supervisor Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to lead and manage electrical commissioning activities for our construction and renewable energy projects throughout Australia.
1. Develop and implement electrical commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure timely and safe project execution.
2. Supervise and train a team of commissioning technicians to complete tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
3. Conduct pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and start-up activities for electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and provide feedback for design improvements.
5. Review and approve test reports, commissioning documentation, and as-built drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A trade qualification in electrical work or a degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. At least 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in solar farm or large-scale construction projects.
3. Proven experience in supervising a team of technicians and subcontractors.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing equipment, and commissioning procedures.
5. Proficiency in using commissioning software and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be proficient in MS Office and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
