 
        
        Assistant Directors in Client Services Branch are responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff, clients, and stakeholders on a diverse and often complex range of issues involved in providing support to public housing tenants.
Assistant Directors are required to lead a team to deliver on operational requirements, develop and maintain networks and collaborative working relationships with community service organisations to assist clients to access appropriate housing and community support services.
Assistant Directors are expected to demonstrate strong management and leadership capability, stakeholder management skills, the ability to think strategically in a busy operational setting. There is a requirement to work across other business units when necessary.
**Eligibility/Other Requirements**:
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
**Notes**: These are temporary positions available for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
