FOCUS ON FURNITURE,one of Australia's fastest expanding Furniture and Bedding retailers is currently seeking a passionate and self-motivated 2IC.
The Assistant Store Manager role is a dynamic retail leadership position where your retail expertise and leadership capability will be pivotal in supporting the Store Manager drive store performance, promote a high level of customer service and encourage a positive team culture.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring excellent customer service is provided by yourself and all staff members at all times
* Provide staff training, guidance and develop strategies to motivate sales performance towards achieving sales targets
* Collaborate with Store manager to drive sales performance and achieve sales targets.
* Support with daily operations such as rostering, administrative tasks
* Assist in Visual Merchandising and store presentation to a high standard
* Efficiently and effectively handle and solve customer service inquiries
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
* Experience and skills in retail sales (furniture experience will be highly regarded but not essential)
* Ability to meet and exceed KPIs
* A passion to provide exceptional customer service
* Prior experience in a retail leadership role
* Strong ability to lead and motivate a team
* Strong computer literacy
* Must be available to work most weekends
