Your Role

Your Role: As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a therapeutic residential care home. In this leadership role, you will manage and support a team of Therapeutic Support Workers, working directly with children and young people who have experienced complex trauma. You will collaborate closely with clinical teams to deliver safe, structured, and nurturing care in line with our Therapeutic Care model. This is a frontline leadership position that requires strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and a deep commitment to creating meaningful and lasting change in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.


What you need to be successful in your role

* A relevant Bachelor's degree or relevant Diploma working towards a Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Community Services or related Diploma is acceptable, with experience and understanding of trauma-informed practice and Therapeutic Care.
* Strong understanding of Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC), child protection frameworks, and trauma-informed care
* Strong administration, risk management, and compliance capability
* Demonstrated ability to coach staff, manage complex behaviours, and build trusting relationships with children and young people
