Hotel Receptionist (Full-Time) Blue Lagoon Resort – Trinity Beach, Cairns QLD
Blue Lagoon Resort is seeking a professional and reliable Hotel Receptionist to join our front office team at our beachside resort in Trinity Beach, Cairns, Queensland.
Blue Lagoon Resort is a well-established holiday accommodation property offering apartment-style stays to domestic and international guests. We pride ourselves on delivering friendly service and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Position Details
* Position: Hotel Receptionist
* Employment Type: Full-time
* Location: Trinity Beach, Cairns QLD 4879
* Salary: $68,000 - $70,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience
* Hours: Rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out procedures
* Managing reservations and accommodation bookings
* Responding to guest enquiries via phone, email and in person
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records
* Providing information about local attractions, transport and services
* Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrival
* Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism at the front desk
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 1–2 years experience in hotel reception, front office or accommodation guest services
* Experience using the Resly reservation system is essential
* Strong working knowledge of the Hero booking platform is required
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Good computer and administrative skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional presentation and attention to detail
