Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career-enhancing opening for Full-Time Day-Shift Maintenance Fitter at their Broadmeadows, VIC further processing facility. Due to industry demand, the business is adding to their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.
Hourly Rate: $47-52+ superShift: 5/6am - 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to FridayWorkday: 8-hour shifts, 38-hour weekSome weekend work required and overtime available for industry award.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and maintain the day-to-day running of the sites production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property
* Maintain equipment performance to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible
* Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns
Ideal Candidate
* Holds a current Mechanical Trade certification - Fitter or Machinist and have a good understanding fault finding and repair on production machinery
* Previous experience in FMCG environment preferred, and open to strong similar experience with material handling systems
* Experience with high speed packing machines, conveyors, sensors, packers, etc.
* Attitude of continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team
