About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pharmacist in critical care services to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to our Intensive Care Unit at Liverpool Hospital, South Western Sydney Local Health District. This position involves delivering expert clinical pharmacy services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise care for critically unwell patients. You will lead advanced pharmacy practices, quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mentor junior staff. You will be instrumental in delivering safe, effective, and stewardship‑driven quality care and contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives to the Unit. What You'll Be Doing
* Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to the nominated clinical specialty area.
* Perform dispensary duties as required.
* Promote safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy.
* Participate in quality improvement and professional development, and contribute to education and supervision of other staff and students.

Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south‑western Sydney, offering a wide range of state‑wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. It is a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, providing extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and a capacity for 877 beds. The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation, expanding clinical services, enhancing research and teaching facilities, and introducing state‑of‑the‑art equipment and amenities. How To Apply

* Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy AND EITHER:
o A minimum of 12 months experience working as a clinical pharmacist in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area),
o Relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area).
* How have you collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication therapy for critically ill patients requiring intensive care? Provide an example of your impact.
* Describe an example of where you have led the implementation of a change in service (example, new policy, procedure, guideline, workflow, model of care, etc).
