About the role
As a Shuttle Driver at Yarra Ranges Council, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service at the Warburton Bike Park. You’ll be responsible for the safe and effective movement of shuttle buses, engaging with visitors, checking tickets, and assisting in emergency situations.
The position is based on-site at Warburton Bike Park.
We are seeking 5 casuals to kickstart the next phase of the Warburton Bike.
This is a Band 2 role with an hourly rate from $42 per hour (including casual loading), plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
* Experience in driving 12–25 seat buses towing 9m single axle trailers, including the ability to reverse park.
* The ability to provide friendly, high-quality customer service and communicate clearly with a diverse range of visitors.
* Ability to manage time and resources efficiently, maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness, and support visitors with loading and unloading bikes.
* Adaptability and resilience in responding to change, emergencies, and challenging situations.
* Great organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
* Diploma/degree in a relevant field is desirable.
* Similar qualifications will also be considered.
* Required: Victorian Light Rigid Bus Licence, Safe Transport Victoria Accredited Bus Driver, and L2 First Aid.
